East USA Fun!!!

Its "near future" since the last post, and so now its the post about my vacation back to the
eastern USA! It was really fun...so basically heres a bunch of pictures and descriptions. Enjoy!

First we have Gettysburg, Penn. Shown here are the Civil war re-inactors. Very educational...something we would do on a high school music tour or something, but none-the-less, interesting and enjoyable! Also, bottom, is me, my cousin Emily, and my dad next to a canon.

Well aint that just precious? That's my little cousin Annie, and myself, having fun at the FREEZING Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. It was rainy....it was cold....we were the only people on the usually way crowded beach, but dang it it was fun!! Also we have me, Annie, and other cousin Rachel.

Next we have Annapolis - the movie of which, under the same title, we watched the night before we did anything in it (but we were still in it) To the left we have a cheerful looking fellow of the US Naval Academy, which is what the movie is about. They have this tall obelisk statue that, at the end of the year, the pleebes (freshman students) all have to work to climb and place their pleebe hat on top - which once they've done, they are "upgraded" from pleebe. Only one person of the whole class has to put the hat on top and it counts for everyone, but there is a specific day at the end of the school year they all gather and try to do it. The tricky thing, besides being tall, is that it is covered the night before in a whole bunch of lard. no joke, FATTY LARD. So it makes it really slippery too. I thought it was pretty neat, haha, I wanna try! Also, a neat harbor next to our hotel in Annapolis, MD.

Below we have a final picture taken in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. That is, you may recall from history class, where John Brown led a slave rebellion. In one of the shops we stopped by for a second, however, we found this - a stuffed Jackelope. Its true, they are real! You can look it up, Pixar didn't just make it up! Anyway, enjoy that.

Hope you had fun looking at these photos. It was a really fun trip. In conclusion, keep boundin'!

Wow! The jackelope is real!!??? When I saw Pixar's short, "Boundin'" I thought they made up the All-American Jackalope... Guess that proves me wrong.

Those are some great photos! gj.

HE posted this actually quite some time before his mission, hehe. He hasn't used it since he's left... which is a sad thing :p Guess it's really strict out there - had to send his ipod back and everything.
